A very home made, slightly rough around the edges, instrumental album. This EP collects the first five 'theme' songs produced by Tea Sky Blue previously found on separate albums.
released December 29, 2015
All instruments were played by Tea Sky Blue except the drums on tracks 1-4, which originate from the band 'Kintsugi Moon' in which Tea Sky Blue is a guitarist, sometimes a bassist and an all round noise maker. The drums on tracks 5 were played and recorded by Tea Sky Blue.
The voice clip included in 'Tegan's Theme' is from a conversation sneakily recorded on Dictaphone between an American family heading to Vancouver while sitting in the South Terminal departure lounge of Gatwick airport in England.
The splashes heard in 'Alabaster's Theme' were recorded in Cranleigh, South East England during a rain storm in which much time was spent splashing.
The sounds of pebbles washing in and out on 'Krakosawa's Theme' were recorded in Worthing in the autumn of 2015 on the seafront.
The sounds of people and fair grounds heard in 'Terra's Theme' were recorded at a 'Christmas light switching on' event during the winter of 2015.
The sounds of people singing backwards in 'Greenvale's Theme' were recorded at a carol service in Cranleigh Church on 24th December and then reversed.
